Most days at work seem to whiz by, but not today.  You see, for whatever reason, most of the credit cards that I swiped at my till needed me to call the credit card company.  I really don’t understand why, but there definitely seemed to be some weird problem occurring at my till.

I made my manager away of the credit card processing problems during my lunch break.  I have worked as a cashier for many years and I had never seen anything like it.

He ended up having to call the company that services our terminals to see what the problem was.  After being on the phone for the better part of an hour, it turned out that it was decided that the best course of action was for us to send the terminal away for repair.

So, it looks like we will be short one till for a week or so and I have been assigned to stock shelves instead.  Though today went poorly, at least I will get to do something different at work for a change.
