For the longest time, I have relied on paid web hosting services to host my websites.  I figured that it would be the best way to go since I figured that I would get good support with my sites, and for the most part, that was true.

But I have been increasing the size of my website network, and it has been difficult to keep up with my hosting needs.  I have outgrown pretty much every hosting package that I currently have, but since I am reinvesting all my money back into the business, I don’t have a lot of money to spare.

So, I have decided that I would try a different approach with some of my newer sites.  If I know that they are not going to be high traffic websites, and that they will not be my primary money sites, I have started to use a free web host for them.

The free hosting will hold me over until I make enough money to buy more hosting – but still allow me to make money from the sites.

I usually like to go to bed at ten, but it looks like it won’t be a possibility tonight.  You see, I am about to launch a new website, and the possibility of making some good profits is worth staying up late for.

I have most of the website designed thanks to the quick and easy web design software that I have been using.  It has made taking my design that I drew out on paper to a coded site quite simple.  It is the first time that I have used the software, and I think that my days of coding sites by hand will be something of the past.

But I just have a little bit left to do before the site can go live.  But thanks to a DHTML menu builder that I downloaded, I expect to be ready to upload the site to the Internet in the next hour or so.  It will just be nice to be done, and see the finished product of the site that I started only a couple of hours ago.  I just can’t wait!

When my husband and I were making a move to another state, one of things that we were concerned about was the effect that it was going to have on our auto insurance.  We had a really good deal where we lived and we were hoping that the move would not have a negative effect on that.

We decided that the best thing we could do was to get auto insurance quotes before we moved. We got quotes from several companies and we were relieved to see that we would not be paying a whole lot more than we were before.

It made me feel far more at ease about the move because we have several friends that have moved and they have ended up getting hosed on car insurance. Once I knew that was alright and once other things started to fall into place, I felt good about the whole thing.

Sometimes as a webmaster I feel a little overwhelmed with the number of options I have when it comes to marketing my website.

First off, there are web directories.  What I like about them is that they are free (at least most of them are).  this is great when you are just starting out and have no budget.  The “bad” thing about web directories is that it takes time for your listings to be approved, but what do you expect for something that is free?

My favorite of the free online marketing options is article submissions.  Basically, you write a short article (500-700 words) and submit them to article directories.  It can take a little time for them to be approved, but once they are, it can have a viral effect.  You see, other webmasters are looking for quality content for their sites, and they could use your article on their site.  They leave a backlink in the credits of the article, and that can help your site to get some traffic.

I know I only covered two types of Internet marketing, but it is a start.

I recently have been interested in increasing the wealth and good things in my life.  I know that it won’t happen by chance, but since I have been thinking about it, things have been set in motion in my life to make it a reality.

Not even a week of deciding to change my life, someone suggested that I watch The Secret and learn about how the Law of Attraction could change my life.

Since the moment of hearing about it, things have already changed in my life.  I didn’t have the money to buy the movie, but it just “happened” to be available at the library.  After watching the movie, I decided to put their ideas into motion.

And things started to change in my life.  I not only got a promotion at work, but I also won a new car.  Who knew that a change of my outlook on life would change it.  All I know is that my future life is looking better and better.

A friend of mine recently got to go see a concert that was sold out almost as soon as the tickets went on sale. She told me that she was able to get tickets before they went on sale to the public because she had a Citi Bank credit card. Apparently being a member has benefits besides savings and loans!  Her Citi presale password got her the ability to buy tickets to the concert early and they didn’t cost any more than when they went on sale to the general public.

How cool is that? If I had the money to get into more concerts, I’d certainly get a Citi card just for that benefit alone. I love a wide variety of music and there are tons of musicians and bands that I’d be happy to see live. I’ve been able to see a few concerts but they have always been the bands that my ex husband or boyfriend wanted to see. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted to see them also, but there are artists that I’d like to see that my guy won’t go to. My daughter is getting old enough though so maybe she’ll start going with me.

I will have to say that I am not the most original person on the planet – especially when it comes to shopping.  I pretty much buy whatever anyone tells me I should, instead of making up my own mind.

This was very evident when I was looking for some baby gifts for my new niece.  I have never really purchased a gift for a baby before, and I had no idea on what I should get.  But I am smart enough to know that I should be able to find the information out online.

So that is what I did.  I went online to a baby gift website, and did a search for their most popular gifts.  Some of them were really not that interesting, but there were a few that caught my eye.  In the end I ended up buying a couple of things, and they will be shipped to me in the next week or so.

Hopefully, my sister will like them – at least she will know that I worked hard to come up with these gift ideas.  I just hope she approves.

I find that as I get older my body aches more and more.  It could be due to my job which involves a lot of physical labor, or it could just be the sports injuries I suffered in my youth.  Needless to say, I would rather function in a world of minimum pain, and I would do almost anything to keep it that way.

What I have been doing lately is visiting the local masseuse.  She has been instrumental in making sure that the pain of living is kept to a minimum, and she is worth every penny.  Each time that I go there I leave feeling refreshed.

But sometimes my schedule is too busy, and I just don’t have time to make it down there.  But thanks to a book that I picked up at the library, I have learned some self massage techniques that help to minimize the pain in between visits.
