My Perfect Used Audi A3 Sportback

As a man of very discriminating tastes, I knew it was going to be quite difficult when I went hunting for a new car. I had a budget set, a vague idea of the sort of car I wanted and a date to go and buy it. All of this was thrown into the air when a friend of mine questioned my choice whilst we were enjoying a drink in a cinema bar one night.

“I can't believe that you haven’t considered a used Audi?”

To be honest I hadn’t. I was planning on getting a new car and praying that it would be reliable enough to last a long time. My friend went on;

“Used Audis are great choices. They are fashionable. They are all fairly priced. And they perform in a superb manner.”

I wasn’t completely convinced that a Used Audi would be for me. That is until I finally tried one. I test drove a Used Audi A3 and fell in love with it it. The Audi A3 model I tested had an Inline four-cylinder spark-ignition engine with petrol direct injection, exhaust turbocharger with intercooler, four valves per cylinder and double overhead camshafts (DOHC). It was superb.

After my test drive I was completely addicted. I needed to buy the Used Audi A3 Sportback. Within a matter of hours the Used Audi A3 Sportback was mine and I was driving home experiencing driving perfection. I doubt whether I will buy any other make of car ever again. The Audi A3 is really that perfect!

12 months later and I am still in love with my Used Audi A3. It is unbelievably reliable, very powerful and extremely beautiful. I would recommend Used Audi cars to anyone looking for a great car at an unbeatable price. I visited my local Sytner dealership and got a fantastic deal.

These vehicles will have only done a few thousand miles and will have been expertly looked after by the dealership. This way you get a great car at a fantastic low price.

Have You Seen The New Fiesta?

If you are looking for a brand new car, why not try a new Ford Fiesta? The new version of the Fiesta has been released to critical acclaim and has sold like hot cakes. After a successful unveiling at various international car shows, the Ford Fiesta started gaining critical attention. Upon its release it didn’t disappoint. What has gained the most of the media spotlight are the Fiesta’s bold and sporty new looks. The previous Fiesta looked like a slightly scaled down Ford Focus, where as the new fiesta is a complete new entity on its own.

The engine and interior is fairly similar to the previous models. That isn’t a bad thing though; the Fiesta has always been a comfortable place to be when driving. There is also the added bonus of sat-nav, Bluetooth and MP3 Connectivity in some of the Fiesta’s various higher-end trim specifications. The engines are alsosimilar to previous Fiesta incumbents, the 1.25 Litre petrol engine being the standard choice.

As far as drive quality goes, the Ford Fiesta is simply fantastic for its price range. The lightness of steering and eagerness of the engine make this a very enjoyable car to drive, whether you are in the city or motorway. It is, however, at its best when cruising through the city streets, looking and handling confident and assured amongst the various challenges with urban driving.

As there are a plethora of models and trims to choose from, recommending the right Fiesta is a difficult choice. There isn’t a great deal of performance difference between some of the models, other than slightly more powerful engines. I would recommend that as this is a budget supermini, you keep the spec simple and keep costs down. You will still experience a fantastic drive and one far superior to the Fiesta’s competition.

Test drive a brand new Ford Fiesta today and you will physically feel its superiority in comparison to the other superminis on the market.

ETFs: The Supercharged Mutual Fund

by Jordan J. Weir

For many years, investors have attempted to diversify their overall portfolios by trying to pick stocks across a diverse set of asset classes. Which is all well and good, but the problem it generally runs into is you should also be diversified within any given asset class, lest something adverse happen to the company you happened to bet on. Yet as soon as your diversifying both within, and between asset classes, now your running a portfolio of potentially 40+ equities, and even the active investor rarely has time to do due diligence on the hundreds of companies required to find 40 excellent investments.

ETF. The latest all important acronym to add to your vocabulary. ETF stands for exchange traded fund; a relatively recent innovation that allows investors to directly target sectors for investment, instead of picking individual stocks, and praying those stocks wont underperform their sector. ETFs are similar to mutual funds, with a couple important differences. They can be bought and sold like a stock, no minimum investment or redemption fees, and you can short them.

Each ETF is designed to mimic an investment in a certain industry, region, or type of stock. Some examples of ETFs are the XLI, XLU, and EWC. These ETFs grant an investor exposure to the industrial sector of the S&P 500, the utilities sector of the S&P 500, and the entire Canadian stock market, respectively. Similarly, one who simply wanted to match the S&P 500 indexs returns could just invest in the SPY.

But why shun the mutual fund? Why take the new guy over the established king? Lets start with the tax advantage. When mutual funds endure large sell offs, they have to liquidate many positions, some of which are currently at a gain. They then have to pay capital gains on those positions, and this negatively impacts their return. It would be an understatement to say that Mutual funds generally have higher expense ratios in general compared to ETFs. It can sometimes cost as little as 8 dollars to get into an ETF whereas a mutual fund of 20,000 that grows to 60,000 over a 20 year period may have conservatively lost as much as 18,000 to its competent managers.

Of course, the vast convenience ETFs have over mutual funds shouldn’t be underestimated. ETFs can be traded just like a stock, giving active traders the ability to buy and sell intraday. The ability to short was impossible with a mutual fund, but now it can be done. During any bear market, the ability to benefit from the fall of sectors as well as their rise is a valuable one to have.

Furthermore, ETFs are often optionable, so risk can be minimized with covered calls and protective puts, or ” if your so inclined ” much larger returns can be sought through buying calls and puts on the ETF. Experienced stock option experts may even use advanced stock option strategies, like iron condors and vertical spreads to increase investment returns.

There are some disadvantages to ETFs as well. Some ETFs have complex structures that can lead them to deviate from what they are supposed to be tracking. A similar instrument, ETNs, can also easily be mistaken for an ETF, leading to some general confusion about what exactly you are investing in. Yet for those willing to put in the work to learn, ETFs can be a highly profitable venture for the modern day portfolio.

ETFs are a powerful tool for both the intelligent investor, and the active trader. Their ability to hone in and diversify within a given industry, or region of the world is invaluable when riding the larger megatrends that happen periodically in investment. Similarly, the ability to trade them just like a stock, using techniques such as shorting, options, and the various order types make them an invaluable asset for the active trader. For those believing the efficient market hypothesis, they even allow passive index investing at a cost far below that of a mutual fund.

New Cars are Not Built to Last

In this day and age cars are a necessity in everyone’s life, if you are relying on public transport then you should expect being late to anywhere you go. People just want to have the best cars around and they end up setting them back a huge amount.

But is it worth the hassle of buying a new car these days? Let as have a look at why I just do not like this.
1.) Newer models of vehicles have been made not to last, so that after a few years you will need to go out and buy a new one.
2.) Even if the cars were built to last people are spread out all over the country, so basically people cover a lot more miles than they used to in the old days.
3.) Service parts for a vehicle cost a fortune.

I think back to the time when I first passed my driving test, it was an overwhelming experience, my first car was a bit clamped out but it never caused me any problems. These days I like to purchase newer cars but they always end up breaking.

Folk like to own cars on finance because they cannot afford to pay a lump sum, but the problem with this is that manufacturers are clever, so the cars are created and by the time you pay them off they break and make you buy a new one.  So in my opinion car leasing is probably one of the best options you pay probably less than you would as a monthly rate for finance, then when your term is up you hand the car back and get a brand new one, plus avoiding all of the cost of repairs and break downs.

Great Mercedes car leasing or BMW car leasing.

Five Things You Need To Know To Become A Successful Massage Therapist

by Lena Hellsten

It is great to be a massage therapist and to be able to give the gift of peace, relaxation and healing to other people on a regular basis. To become successful as a massage therapist it is important to know the different aspects that will make sure that your clients will not only come back to you but also find their way to you in the first place.

-Creating an environment of peace and harmony. It is essential to put in some extra energy into this part since it is what meets your clients before they start receiving the massage and will ensure that they already feels positive, relaxed and receptive when you begin. Have some candles lit if its appropriate, dim the lights and use mild and calming colors in the room. Maybe have some fresh flowers(that are non-allergenic in case your client is sensitive) in a bowl of water. Use your creativity.

-Another thing that shouldnt be overlooked is the way you approach your client when they arrive at your home spa or saloon. Its a great idea to use some small talk since it normally makes the person feel more relaxed and comfortable and it creates a sense of warmth between you. Just talk about anything that is of a positive, relaxed nature and then you can ask a few questions about your clients health etc.

-Before you start the massage its important to bring yourself into a state of relaxation, to go first. A relaxed state is contagious and your client will easily pick up on this vibration. Take some time and center yourself with a few deep breath and become really relaxed. Your clients will reap much more benefits from the experience if you have taken the time to prepare yourself properly.

-Marketing, marketing, marketing This is a part of the massage therapy business that often is overlooked, yet it is one of the most important aspects. It is a good idea to look into the subject a bit extra before you try on your own. You want to be sure that you dont waste a lot of money on strategies that doesnt work and that you instead use your money on those things that generates a greater clientele for you.

-My last point is perhaps the most important aspect and it is to trust yourself and your ability. When you know that you are doing your best and that you are an amazing massage therapist, there will be a confidence and calmness within you. Your clients will sense this and respond in a more positive way to your treatments. Give yourself lots of encouragement and positive comments. You truly can do it and what you have to give is valuable!

How to Find Good Golf Equipment

by June Karlsson

Good golf equipment can be cheap if you know where to look. I can’t count how many times I’ve gone to yard sales in the summer in my neighborhood and to find an entire set of clubs for $20. Granted, I’m almost certain they weren’t top of the line stuff, but they were suitable for how I play.

I’d rather plop down a few hundred bucks into learning how to play golf from a pro than to throw down $1100 for a set of clubs I may not use consistently. Garage sales, auctions, yard sales, and thrift stores will all have sets of golf clubs for very reasonable prices. Again, they aren’t new so you do need to check out the shafts to make sure they aren’t bowed. But those neighborhood summer sales would be the first place I’d look.

Next, I would log onto the largest online auction site in the world, ebay.com. For the past ten years Ebay has enjoyed a great reputation in the online auction and e-commerce world. You can find exceptionally good deals if you know how and where to look. But you do need a little patience because the deals may not end for five or six days from the time you begin looking. Then again, it may end in eight minutes. You just never know. At this writing, there were over 2924 golf club sets for auction. There were 11,677 golf ball sites offering their golf balls for sale. Search around on Ebay and you are sure to make some really good finds.

Amazon.com is also a good site to find a ton of people who are willing, for whatever reason, to offload a set of golf clubs for a reasonable price. The deals aren’t obvious all the time, but they do exist.

One disadvantage to these online sites is that you don’t get a first hand look and touch before you buy them. In that sense, you truly are buying a pig in a poke. Most major online sites have decent return policies, but I have yet to see a quality return policy that makes the customer happy.

Finally, online golf sites (not Yahoo-, Ebay- or Amazon-related) are the last place I would turn to in order to find great reconditioned golf equipment. These sites are geared towards golf. Buying from these sites is an area that you need to be cautious about.

You can buy decent equipment at affordable prices but you need to exercise a bit of caution. It’s fine to be cautiously skeptical about your buys. P.T. Barnum said it best: “there’s a sucker born every minute.” And he hadn’t even heard about the crazy world wide web. He was ahead of his time. You now know that not everyone you deal with online is as pure as the driven snow. Read the Seller’s reviews. If he (or she) has a a fair number of positive reviews, you greatly increase your odds of having a positive and successful buying experience. Avoid those sellers who have very few buy and/or sell transactions. It doesn’t make the person untrustworthy, it just makes him inexperienced.

Ways of keeping Herons away from your Koi

by Mikel Mcsuche

Herons are beautiful, majestic birds that have one major flaw. Herons love to feast on Koi, and where better then to find Koi then an unattended Koi pond or garden?

Of course, finding one of these birds, with their rather large wingspan, in your garden is a pleasant surprise under different circumstances. But not if you have a pond in your garden. If you do then you do not want these birds to be visiting it in order to feast on your Koi.

If you notice that you are missing some of your fish then chances are that a Heron has paid your garden a visit. There are often other telltale signs to indicate if a Heron has been there. For one thing, you might find fish lying a distance away from the pond. More than likely it was caught by one of these birds and then dropped and left for some reason. Also, sometimes the birds misjudge and the fish gets away with its life but with a nasty wound on its body, caused by the Heron’s impressive beak. To date, no deterrent exists that effectively prevents these birds from visiting your pond once and for all, but there are some things you might want to try:

There are some kinds of technical equipment that can act as effective Heron deterrents but unfortunately they do not tend to be long lasting.

Various other types of equipment attempt to detour Herons by causing them discomfort. This only works until the Heron gets use to it, or just finds a way around it.

Basically, the only thing you can do is to keep a watch out for them. You cannot prevent them from coming but you can reduce their presence.

1)Constantly change your routine. Herons are smart and know when you will typically be present. Visiting your pond frequently at various times during the day will greatly increase the chance that you will catch the Heron in action. If you are unable to vary your routine, you may consider enlisting others to visit your pond as well. Older, trustworthy children in the neighborhood may delight in visiting your pond at various times of the day. Giving them permission to visit whenever they want will allow others to visit when you are unable too.

2.When the time comes and you come across a Heron about to indulge in a feast of your Koi, do your utmost to frighten it as much as you possibly can. Jump, scream, bang things, etc, only do not harm the bird in any way. The idea is to give it such a scare that it will not visit your Koi pond again, at least not for a while anyway. It does not always work but it is definitely worth a try.

3.Koi owners who design their ponds to look natural include hiding places that the fish can use when a Heron is around. Although the birds can still manage to catch some fish they certainly cannot enjoy as much success as they do in ponds without hiding spaces. If your pond does not have any, try making or purchasing some in order to provide your fish with some degree of protection. The Koi will not mistake you for a heron so you do not need to be concerned that they will hide from you, too.

4.If Herons have succeeded in depleting your collection of Koi you should resist the urge to add more fish to the pond straight away. If you leave it empty the birds might decide to move somewhere else where there are more Koi to catch.

Reavaluating Your Personal Finance, Money, And Securing Your Future

by Margo Moore

Today’s economy has everyone on the run and has those of us with money in the market is sheer panic as we have watched what we thought was going to be a huge nest egg be whittled down to next to nothing. Our personal finance picture has become very spotty and it is time to look into other areas to ensure that we are not working until out last day of existence.

The market has always been a lure for people that are trying to make a quick score or get rich quick without a lot of effort. This is not to say that it cannot happen, but you have to do research and stay on top of all your trades. There are other personal finance choices available to you that you may want to explore.

One of the most popular retirement funds for people in their younger years is to set up a Roth IRA. This is an IRA that you don’t get a deduction for in the year of your contribution, but you do not pay taxes on the money when you pull it out after retirement as you have already paid taxes on it in the past. This is something that has become more and more popular over the last few years.

If you are employed at an establishment that supports a 401k for their employees, sign up as soon as you can. Most places will match a portion of your contribution and you want to make sure that you put at least that much in every week. While you may not be vested for a period of two or three years, they will start their match from the very first day and you want to make sure that you get every penny that they are willing to put in there.

Even if you have to tighten up the belt a little bit, you will want to get every penny that you have coming to you. There are no other investment opportunities that will give you this benefit. In most cases, your company will require that you are with them for a minimal period of time before becoming fully vested, but the match will be available from day one.

Another popular money choice that has stayed consistent over the years has been mutual funds. While they have always been a popular investment, you still need to do a fair amount of research on them to ensure that you getting one that is on the way up, not the other way around. Go with a strong company that adjusts their portfolio and watch the profits roll in.

A much less profitable personal finance choice, but one that is very secure would be to consider CD’s. These will lock up your money for a specific period of time and will continue to roll over the interest upon maturity unless you specify otherwise. Right now interest rates are low, but your money will be at no risk whatsoever.

The market is a great place to invest, but you have to be able to watch your money for every second of every day. Otherwise, why you are putting a hard day in at the office, your account can be dwindling down to nothing. Go with one of the safer personal finance options above and your retirement can be much closer than you think.
